Applicants must reside in Australia, be 18 years of age or over and earn a minimum income of $24,000 per annum to apply.
1. Depending on when you make a purchase, when your statement is issued and whether or not you are carrying forward a balance on your account from your previous statement period.
2. Enrolment in Membership Rewards required. An annual fee may apply. Subject to the Terms and Conditions of the Membership Rewards program. There may be taxation implications associated with your participation in the Membership Rewards program. You are advised to check with your accountant or tax adviser for further information.
3. Transactions with GST itemisation on American Express Commercial Card statements can act as proof of purchase for taxation purposes, and may substitute for a tax invoice when claiming input tax credits. However, original tax invoice retention is required where the merchant is classified as a Mixed Supply merchant.
4. No preset spending limit does not mean unlimited spending. Your purchases are approved based on a variety of factors, including current spending patterns, your payment history, credit record, and financial resources known to us.
5. The 20,000 Bonus Points offer is only available to new applicants who apply and are approved for the American Express Business Card. Applications must be received by 31 January 2010. 20,000 Bonus Points will be credited to your account when you spend on your American Express Business Card within the first three months. Please allow 8 to10 weeks after you have spent on your American Express Business Card for points to be credited to your account. |
