1. Rebates are earned on total purchases charged to your Platinum MoneyBack Credit Card account in the preceding statement period (excluding credits, purchases of American Express Travellers Cheques, Foreign Currencies, Interest and fees). Rebate credits are subject to the Platinum MoneyBack Rebate Program Terms and Conditions. The MoneyBack rebate earned will appear as a credit on your monthly statement at the end of each applicable statement period. The introductory rate of 5% MoneyBack is ONLY valid on purchases charged to the Card in the first 3 months of your Card membership and up to a maximum MoneyBack rebate of $300 ONLY. After the first 3 months of membership or once you have earned $300 MoneyBack (whichever occurs earlier), you will revert back to a 1% MoneyBack Rebate rate.
