28 Degrees Credit Card Answers to frequently asked questions:

How much money can I balance transfer from my existing credit card?

From an existing credit card, you can transfer any amount above $100 up to the amount of your credit limit.

How much cash can I withdraw on my 28 Degrees MasterCard?

Subject to your available credit, you can withdraw up to $1,000 per day at an ATM and up to $3,000 per day over the counter at a financial institution. (Please note, this may be less depending where you are in the world. Some financial institutions may limit the amount of cash you can withdraw through their facilities.)
Some customers may have a smaller cash limit on their card. The details of your credit limit can be found on your latest statement.

What does 'no international transaction fees' actually mean?

It means you don’t pay a fee for anything you buy overseas on your card.
With the 28 Degrees MasterCard, we do not charge international ATM fees, there are no international over the counter transaction fees and no international transaction fees for when you make purchases. There are also no currency conversion fees for international transactions. This adds up to a lot of savings if you enjoy shopping when you are away.

What are the approval criteria for the 28 Degrees MasterCard?

Like most financial institutions, we work on a credit check system. We need to make sure we are identifying the right person, to prevent fraud. We take many things into consideration when considering an application. And, while we don't disclose the specific details of our criteria, if you're declined we'll let you know in writing.

I've seen other credit card offers that are similar. Is there anything different about this card?

If anything, there are even more reasons for using a 28 Degrees MasterCard.
It’s still a great card for people who shop overseas – it’s the only credit card currently available in Australia with no international transaction fees, no currency conversion fees and no fees for overseas cash withdrawals (the ATM owner might charge you a fee but we won’t). It’s also a great credit card for shopping in Australia.
