Credit Card Profile: Bankwest Zero Platinum Credit Card
September 22, 2009
What are the primary things you look for when choosing a credit card? If you’re like most consumers, you probably look for low (or no) annual fees and low interest rates. If you’re already using a high interest credit card, you might also be looking for a great balance transfer rate to lower your overall interest payments.
The problem is that credit cards often focus on one or two of these benefits, but it can be difficult to find a credit card that offers all three. Not anymore! The Bankwest Zero Platinum credit card manages to combine consumer-friendly low costs of completely no-frills credit cards with just enough perks to give it an edge, and a deserved place in your wallet!
Find out more about the Bankwest Zero Platinum credit card below and find out how you can take advantage of the perfect combination of low interest, low balance transfer rates, and no annual fee!
Type of Credit Card: No fee credit card / Balance transfer card / Low interest card
Interest Rates*: The regular purchase interest rate for the Bankwest Zero Platinum card is 15.99% p.a., and you can get cash advances for that same low rate (unlike many other credit cards which charge higher interest rates on cash advances). The card also offers a special introductory interest rate on balance transfers of just 4.99% for nine months. Better yet, that 4.99% APR will also apply to your purchases for your first nine months! Even though this credit card’s interest rates are lower than those of many competitors, you can opt to avoid interest payments altogether by taking advantage of the up to 55 interest free days on purchases.
Annual Fee*: The Bankwest Zero Platinum credit card not only features no annual fee on your primary credit card, but also allows you to add up to three additional cardholders for free.
Rewards / Extras*: This isn’t a rewards card, so you won’t earn points through a rewards programme. However, the Bankwest Zero Platinum card does offer some member perks including a 24/7 concierge service (you can use it to help with travel arrangements and more), automatic purchase protection, up to 12 months extended warranties on purchases, and international travel insurance at no extra cost.
Additional Details*: Your special introductory balance transfer rate will end nine months after the date the card is approved (not necessarily nine months from the date of your balance transfer). The minimum balance transfer amount allowed is $500, and balances may not be transferred from other Bankwest credit cards. Gold and Classic versions of this credit card are also available.
* Interest rates, annual fees, and other credit card details were taken from the most accurate data available at the time of writing. All rates are subject to change from the issuing bank, and their inclusion here in no way serves as a guarantee of rates. Please review rates and terms with the card issuer at the time of application.
