Type of Credit Card: Balance transfer credit card

Interest Rates*: This credit card features a 17.49% APR on purchases and includes a special introductory balance transfer interest rate of 7.99% for your first six months. You’ll also receive up to 55 interest free days on purchases.

Annual Fee*: Your ANZ Gold Visa credit card has an $87 annual account fee. However, you’ll be able to add up to nine additional cardholders for no additional annual fee.

Rewards / Extras*: The ANZ Gold Visa doesn’t come with a rewards programme, but it does offer you travel benefits and other perks. Travel benefits include commission free travellers’ cheques from any Australian ANZ branch, no overseas ANZ cash withdrawal fees, and overseas travel and medical insurance.

In addition to those travel benefits, you’ll also be eligible for up to 12 months extended warranty on eligible purchases, 90 day purchase cover, and an online guarantee programme to protect you against online fraudulent purchases on your account.

Note: In order to be eligible for the comprehensive overseas travel and medical insurance through your ANZ Gold Visa credit card, you must be under 80 years old and have used that credit card towards at least $250 of your travel arrangements before leaving Australia. You also must have a return ticket with plans to return to Australia within four months of leaving.

Additional Details*: Credit limits for the ANZ Gold Visa credit card range from $5000 to $25,000, depending on your credit history. You must have an annual income of at least $50,000 to be eligible for an ANZ Gold card.
