Interest Rates*: The Virgin No Annual Fee credit card has a surprisingly low regular purchase rate (at least for a no annual fee card) of just 16.95%. There is a 20.99% cash advance rate. You’ll also get up to 44 interest free days as long as your balance was paid in full for the previous two consecutive months.

If you plan to use the card for a balance transfer, you can take advantage of a 2.9% balance transfer rate for up to six months.

Annual Fee*: You won’t be charged an annual fee for the Virgin No Annual Fee credit card. You’ll also get free additional cards if you need them!

Rewards / Extras*: You get 1000 bonus points the first time you make a purchase before 31st December 2010. You can redeem those points for flights with Virgin Blue, Pacific Blue, and Polynesian Blue destinations.

Not looking to fly? You can still redeem your points for hotel stays, shopping vouchers and merchandise, car hires, or even donate your rewards to charity.

You will also have access to protections such as Fraudshield and Visa Zero Liability as well as optional CreditShield Edge credit protection insurance.

Additional Information: You’ll need a minimum annual income of $20,000 to be approved for the Virgin No Annual Fee credit card. You can choose from six different colours to customise your new credit card too.
