The interest rate is comparatively low, the annual fee is waived for the first year, and there’s even a special balance transfer rate trying to woo you with its siren call so you’ll move your existing balance there. All in all, you’ve found a pretty cheap credit card! You rush off to apply.

The first step that is recommended by the Federal Government is to complain to the provider.
